Are the locations franchised?
No. Delta Sonic is a family-owned-and-operated business headquartered in Buffalo, NY. Being family owned allows us to maintain the great service and quality we’ve become famous for.
How do I check the status of a claim?
All claims are processed upon receipt and take between 7 – 10 business days. If for some reason you do not hear from us, please contact our claims department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I request a donation?
Donation requests must be sent with documentation of the fundraiser/organization to email@example.com. Please allow 3 – 4 weeks advance notice.
My Groupon expired, can I still use it?
Yes. You can use it for the value that you paid for it.
What are your hours of operation?
Each location varies slightly. Visit our locations for information on services, hours, Google maps, and more.
Why do you scan my vehicle registration and what do you do with my information?
Delta Sonic requires that the plate number be entered for every vehicle that enters the wash. By scanning the registration, we obtain the plate number for internal information and for guaranteed washes. No personal information is collected.

Do I have to use my FREE washes at the same location I bought it?
No. You can redeem your FREE washes at any location.
Do you hand wash cars?
Delta Sonic offers hand wash services for cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, buses, limos, etc., at our Detail Shop locations.
Do you offer fleet car wash services?
Yes. We’re happy to discuss your fleet car wash needs. Please submit the form and our sales representative will contact you.
What is the car wash height clearance?
Maximum height is 84 inches or 7 feet.
What is the ground clearance for the car wash? How low can a vehicle be?
A vehicle must have at least 4 inches of ground clearance.
What size tires can go through the car wash?
Maximum tire size is 12.5 inches.
What’s the difference between the Super Kiss Plus and the Super Kiss?
The Super Kiss Plus offers additional premium treatments, including: Sonic Glass, Sonic Gloss, Sonic Glaze, and Tire Dressing. And it comes with 2 FREE washes within 2 weeks. Whereas the Super Kiss comes with 1 FREE wash within 5 days.

Each Detail Service offers a unique set of benefits to individualize what you want for your car. From the Super Interior Steamed & Sanitized Detail to the Premier Detail Package, we have the treatments, products, and price points to meet every customer’s needs.
Why do I have to pay extra for my vehicle?
There is an additional charge on larger vehicles because they require more time and more product to clean. Additional fees may also apply due to the condition of the vehicle.

Do I need an appointment for a New York State Inspection?
Please call a Delta Sonic location near you for availability. All inspections are completed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need an appointment for an Oil Change?
No. We take cars on a first-come, first-served basis. Find Delta Sonic Oil Changes and hours at a location near you.
Do I need an appointment for Maintenance Services?
No. Maintenance Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For big repairs that require more time, please call a Delta Sonic location near you for an appointment.
Does Delta Sonic have any deals on Oil Changes?
Yes. Unlimited Super Kiss Plus members SAVE $25 on any oil change. We also offer discounts and deals throughout the year on our website and social media sites.
Does Delta Sonic offer fleet, commercial, or corporate Oil Change packages?
Yes. For customized estimates, please submit the form and our sales representative will contact you.
How do you check your car’s oil?
Stop by one of our Delta Sonic Oil Change locations and we’d be happy to check your oil for you. It’s important to maintain your oil properly for safe and optimum function of your vehicle.
How often should you change your oil?
On average, every 5,000 – 7,500 miles. This varies based on your vehicle’s operator’s manual.
What type of oil does my car take?
For vehicles with over 75,000 miles, Delta Sonic offers a semi-synthetic oil formulated for high-mileage vehicles. We also offer full-synthetic oils such as: General Motors Dexos 1, Mobil 1, Delta Sonic’s premium oil (5W20, 5W30, 5W40, 0W16, 0W20), and Pennzoil Euro (for European vehicles). For specific vehicles, please consult your operator’s manual.

Are your Collision Center technicians experienced?
Yes. Our technicians are highly trained and we have over 100 years of combined experience.
Do I need an appointment for collision repairs?
Do you have experience with repairing foreign cars or rare models?
Yes. Our highly trained technicians are experienced with a full range of vehicle makes and models.
Do you offer a warranty on Collision Center repairs?
Yes. We offer a Lifetime Warranty on vehicle panels we work on.
Do you provide rental cars to use while my car is being worked on?
We do not provide rental cars.
How long will it take to get my car repaired?
Collision repairs vary, depending on the make and model of your vehicle, and the extent and type of damage. We understand that you want your car back as soon as possible, and we do everything we can to ensure you don’t have a long wait. We also provide continuous communication to keep you updated on the progress.
What is your payment policy?
Full payment is due upon completion of repairs.
Wheel & Tire Services FAQs
Are your technicians experienced?
Yes. Our technicians are highly trained and fully experienced.
Do I need an appointment to get my tires rotated?
No. Stop into any Delta Sonic Lube Shop location and we can rotate your tires with no appointment.
Do you offer a warranty on tire replacement?
Warranties are based on what the manufacturer is offering with the purchase of the tires.
How do I check the air pressure in my tires?
- Stop into any Delta Sonic Super Plus Club location and use the tire gauge to check the air pressure and the air dispenser to inflate your tires.
- Don’t forget to replace the tire valve cap on each tire after inflating them.
- Don’t use the number on the tire. That’s the maximum PSI the tire can hold, not the recommended amount.
- Please refer to the placard/sticker on the driver’s side door jamb for specific tire PSI for your vehicle.
What brands of tires do you sell?
We sell and install many brands of tires, including: Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear, Pirelli, and more.
What’s the difference between balancing and aligning my tires?
These are two different services. Balancing helps ensure weight is evenly distributed around the entire circumference of the tire and wheel. Alignment is the process of adjusting the angles of your vehicle’s steering wheel and suspension components back to original specifications.
Windshield & Glass Repair FAQs

Do I need an appointment for window or windshield replacement?
Do I need to schedule an appointment for chip repair on my windshield?
No. Stop into any Delta Sonic Detail Shop location and we can repair up to three chips in your windshield.
Do you offer a warranty on glass and windshield repairs?
No. Our glass repair services do not include a warranty.
How long will it take to repair a chip in the windshield?
On most days our certified technicians can repair a chip in your windshield in under an hour.
Is there a charge for repairing windshield chips?
Many major insurance coverage plans will cover the cost for free. If yours doesn’t, the cost is $44.99/chip, $10/extra chip, and up to three chips repaired.
Unlimited Packages FAQs
Can a fleet of vehicles receive Unlimited Washes?
Can anyone use the Unlimited Express Lane?
No. The Unlimited Express Lane is a benefit available to Unlimited members only. But, Unlimited members can use any lane at our car washes, not just our Unlimited Express Lanes.
Can I cancel my plan if I paid for a full year up front?
If you pay in advance for a full year, your plan is valid for one year from purchase date. You may not cancel and are not entitled to any refunds or credits. If you use the monthly payment plan, you may cancel after the 1st full month’s payment.
Do I need my Unlimited Tag to cancel my plan?
Yes, you will need your Unlimited number from the sticker on your car or from your original receipt.
How do I cancel my plan?
How do I update my credit card on file?
You can see a cashier at any location or call 1-800-THE-KISS (843-5477). You’ll need your Unlimited number from the sticker on your car or from your original receipt.
How long does it take for my plan to be canceled?
It takes 24 – 48 hours, but please cancel before the 25th of the month to ensure you will not be billed the next month.
I have a new vehicle. How do I transfer my plan?
Write down the current sticker number and plate number. Bring to a wash cashier and let them know you have a new car. They will update your plan and get you a new sticker.
What if the Unlimited Express Lane isn’t working?
If it’s not working, a car wash cashier can scan your barcode and you may proceed through another lane of the wash.
Why do I need a sticker on my window?
A cashier must install a sticker at time of purchase to the rear driver side window in order to identify you and your Unlimited Package. This sticker contains an electronic device, which is scanned every time you go through the Unlimited Express Lane or by a cashier. It may not be removed or placed anywhere else. Tampering with the sticker will deactivate the chip and your plan will be undetectable as a result.
Will I receive a refund after canceling?
You are not entitled to a refund or a credit, but your plan will be active for the remainder of the paid month.

Do you offer a Fleet Fuel discount program?

How does The Card work at Delta Sonic’s Gas and Convenience Stores?
The Card is a secure and convenient way to pay for Gas and Convenience Store purchases while also getting special discounts. By linking your checking account to The Card, you enjoy discounted prices and the convenience of paying without annual fees or finance charges. Simply insert The Card before pumping Gas or present The Card to the cashier for store purchases.
What kind of fuel does Delta Sonic have?
Where does your gasoline come from?
Delta Sonic’s gasoline is supplied primarily from refiners based in the United States who utilize crude oil from Canadian and North Sea sources.
The Card FAQs
How long does it take to get The Card registered?
The Card will be processed between 3 – 5 days. You will receive an email notifying you of your account status.
What do I need when I register for The Card?
Please have your U.S. checking account number and routing number, a voided check from your checking account, a valid driver’s license, your current email address, The Card number found on the back of The Card, and your Unlimited member barcode if applicable.
What if I have a question about a charge on The Card?
Please call ZipLine Customer Service at 877-403-2222, if you have questions or concerns regarding payments on The Card. ZipLine manages transactions related to The Card.
What is The Card?
The Card is a secure and convenient way to pay for your gasoline and convenience store purchases at Delta Sonic. By linking your checking account to The Card, you enjoy discounted gas prices and the convenience of paying without annual fees or finance charges.
Where do I get the card?
Why do we offer a discount with The Card?
Credit card companies charge about 2% to process your purchase. The higher the price of gasoline, the more credit card companies charge us. The Card has lower fees (that Delta Sonic pays) than credit cards, which allow us to pass the savings back to you.
Can I get a reference if I used to work here?
We make every effort to provide work references in a timely manner. Please contact our Human Resources Department by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. It is our company policy to only release your job title and dates of employment to other employers or agencies.
Do Delta Sonic employees stay with the company for a long time?

How do I apply?

How do I make a request for reasonable accommodation?
How many hours will I be able to work each week?
Scheduling for entry-level team members is flexible. The number of hours that each individual receives will vary based on availability, business volume, and the weather.
How old do I need to be to work at Delta Sonic?
You must be at least 16 years old to work at Delta Sonic. New York and Pennsylvania team members under the age of 18 must also provide valid working papers (obtainable from your school).
If I go away to school, will I still be able to work at Delta Sonic when I come home for breaks?
Yes. We encourage and support furthering your education. Our part-time team members often come back to work during school breaks. We also offer the opportunity for team members to apply for Delta Sonic scholarships to help support their education.
If I want to learn a new skill at Delta Sonic, how do I do that?
Many of our team members get cross-trained in more than one position and learn new skills that launch them into management positions in the future. We offer training for each position, and we have an extensive library of online training that employees have access to. Simply apply for the position you want to learn or ask your supervisor for advice on your career path.
Is there opportunity for advancement at Delta Sonic?
Yes. Most of our full-time team members started out with a part-time position, and most of our management positions are filled from within the Delta Sonic team. We offer a variety of career paths to meet the goals and needs of our team members.
Will I receive training on how to perform my job tasks?
During a hands-on training period, you will be taught Delta Sonic’s procedures and policies at your home location. If you are able to properly perform our procedures with speed, quality, and a great attitude, you will officially be certified at Delta Sonic and become a part of our team.
